12 BRAND NEW 1988 World Series Programs. This great California series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland A's ended with a Dodgers victory in five games. The Series was memorable for the pinch-hit home run hit by a hobbled Kirk Gibson with two-out in the 9th inning off of Oakland relief ace Dennis Eckersley in game 1. The Series MVP was Orel Hershiser, who struck out 17 in a 3-hit shutout in Game 2. Strangely, the program has the roster for all 4 Division Finalists (Mets, Red Sox, Dodgers, Athletics).
