Large Lot of Vintage Tiemann &
Co. Surgical Instruments
What you see is what you get. Lots of scary looking tools and
even a tourniquet. All the marks are in an old English font. Found in
a box with the following information: "Old Instruments Surgical / G.
Tiemann & Co. / 67 Chatham St. / New York". Some of the handles
are wood and others resemble gutta-percha. My guess is that they are
at least 100 years old. The company however is still in business to
this day.
